INTRODUCTION
This module provides the basic essentials of good flat roofing practice in the domestic sector, from customer relations through design, product selection, installation and handover. There’s an assessment at the end. If you complete this successfully we will issue a SPRA Certificate of Basic Competence.
PRODUCT TRAINING
You should also get trained to install the single ply membrane that you offer to customers. Training is available at manufacturers and some distributors. You can’t get product training at colleges. If you’re successful you will receive a product training card. Product training from a SPRA membrane manufacturer counts towards the national qualification for single ply.
